To get the best out of the Peugeot salt grinding mechanism, users should only use dry, coarse salts that are 4 mm (0.16 in.) or smaller. The mechanism provides a lifetime and a perfect grinding result. Additionally, the coarseness of the salt can be adjusted using the knob, with an aged appearance, located on the head of the two mills. The tighter the knob is screwed in, the finer the grind.
