The Paris u'Select mills allow users to adjust the grind by turning the ring at the bottom of the mill – clockwise for a finer grind, and counterclockwise for a coarser one. Once the desired grind size is set, it remains in place until the user decides to change it. The legendary pepper grinding mechanism is made of case-hardened steel and has undergone additional treatment to resist wear and corrosion. Its double-row of helix-shaped claws grab and crack each peppercorn before drawing it down to the teeth for the perfect grind.

Peugeot mills are MADE IN FRANCE, with PEFC-certified beech wood from sustainably managed French forests and steel mechanisms all produced at the Peugeot manufacture, from concept development to commercialization. The 2-stage salt grinding mechanism is made of specially treated stainless steel, ensuring razor-sharp teeth and protection against corrosion. This mechanism releases maximum flavor and aroma by fracturing and crushing the coarse salt to a consistent size.

Peugeot mills are easy to use, with the u'Select ring system at the bottom of the mill allowing users to easily achieve the desired grind size. The safe, comfortable grip helps users obtain high, consistent output with minimal effort. For the best results with the Peugeot salt grinding mechanism, users should use dry rock salt with a maximum diameter of 4 mm (0.16"). Sea salt is not recommended. The mills are partially filled with rock salt at the factory for immediate enjoyment.

Each Peugeot mill comes with a lifetime warranty on the mechanism and a 5-year warranty on the body of the mill. They can be easily cleaned by wiping with a soft cloth.
