The 18 cm Paris olive wood mill moves seamlessly from the kitchen to the table, with the metal button adorned with the lion's head used to adjust the grind setting - tighten for a fine grind or loosen for a crunchier texture, the choice is yours.

This model can grind dry salt (rock salt) with a crystal size of less than or equal to 4 mm, but wet sea salt (even dried) should not be used. Originating from sustainably managed European forests, the olive wood for this mill has an oiled finish, while the steel mechanisms are all made at the Peugeot manufacture, from concept development to commercialization.

Featuring a 2-stage salt grinding mechanism made of specially treated stainless steel to keep the teeth razor sharp and protect from corrosion, this mill releases maximum flavor and aroma by fracturing and crushing the coarse salt to a consistent size. The classic grind adjustment is easy to use - turn the top knob tighter (clockwise) for finer grinds and looser (counter-clockwise) for coarser grinds. The safe, comfortable grip helps achieve high, consistent output with minimal effort.

To get the best results from the Peugeot salt grinding mechanism, it is recommended to use dry rock salt with a maximum diameter of 4 mm (0.16"). The mill comes partially filled with rock salt for immediate enjoyment, and is MADE IN FRANCE.
